A plant based playground

for experimenting with plants, microorganisms, dishes, moods, fungi, techniques. The diversity of the plant world and the infinite and creative ways of using them is what inspires this playground.

This web is about my experience with food, my never ending investigations into ferments (especially plant based cheeses), or into specific ingredients and their uses in cooking like adaptogen mushrooms or seaweed for example.

It’s also about recipe developing and trying out food photography and sometimes it’s about my personal journey in all this, my failed or successful experiments, my struggles, learning curve, breakthroughs and thoughts.

These investigatios materialize into workshops, pop-up events, tastings, courses or articles, recipes and concepts.

My name is Silvana Indreica, I’m a plant based food creator, self taught chef, always in training and I’m the founder of Red Greenery, a consultancy and plant based events creation project.

I am based in Tenerife for now but with deep roots in the mountains of Transylvania, where I was born, grew up, took a lot of my inspiration from and where I go every summer to bask in the simple wonders of the natural world.
